1. Dry Ration Kits Distribution to Flood Victims at Silchar, Guwahati, Assam


Under the CSR initiative of The Muthoot Group, 200 dry ration kits were distributed to the flood victims of Silchar, Guwhati, Assam. The distribution activity was conducted in branch premises in the presence of Mr. Mridul Saha, Officer Municipal Board, Siddharta Sankar Purkayastha, Branch Manager & Staff of Silchar branch.

2. Muthoot Aashiyana Project

Under the Muthoot Aashiyana project 200 houses were constructed for the victims of floods in Kerala. The construction of the houses were planned in the worst flood-affected areas such as Paravoor, Alwaye, Chengannoor, Aaranmula, Thiruvalla, Kozhencherry, Kuttanad, Kumarakom, Thodupuzha, Malapuram, Chellanam, Trichur, and Idukki. Muthoot M George Foundation, CSR wing of The Muthoot Group has handed over the first disaster resilient home to the flood-affected family of Rajeswary and Subramanian at a home dedication ceremony in Annamanada, Trichur, Kerala. The landmark occasion was graced by Mr. K R. 3. The Muthoot Group donates Rs.1.5 crores to Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund

Muthoot M George Foundation, the CSR division of The Muthoot Group has contributed Rs. 1.5 Crores for the relief and rehabilitation of the victims of Kerala Floods. Shri M. G. George Muthoot, Chairman, The Muthoot Group handed over a cheque of Rs.1.5 crores to Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan towards the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund in the presence of Shri George Alexander Muthoot, MD and Shri George Jacob Muthoot, JMD, and other officials, during a function held at the Secretariat Trivandrum on 13th August 2018.

4. Assistance to Chennai Flood Victims

During the Chennai Floods of 2015, a large population of the state was affected with no access to basic requirements such as food, drinking water and clothing. The Muthoot Group supported the flood victims by distributing essentials such as food, drinking water, blankets, sleeping mattresses etc.
