The objective of the initiative is to provide the underprivileged kids an overall growth in 5 key areas: (1) Right to Education (2) Promoting Better Health & Hygiene (3) Ensuring the Right to Play, (4) Promoting Gender Inclusion & Empowerment and (5) Developing youth as Community Leaders. The initiative, managed by our NGO partner Magic Bus will directly benefit 1000 under-privileged children from Latma, Hatma, Ghagra, Harmu and Jorar villages of Jharkhand.

Speaking on the initiative, Avinav Chaubey (AGM-Marketing, Muthoot Group) said: “Education is essential for a child’s development to ensure that young people make the right choices from childhood all the way through to gainful employment. One of our social purposes is to make significant contributions towards an equitable and sustainable society and we aim to do this by imparting and enhancing the quality of education among the lesser privileged children and thus, catalysing systemic change in the society. I am glad that we are doing our part in creating awareness and empowering the child in the Jharkhand region which has a low literacy rate.”

Magic Bus will be imparting training programs for two weeks on a rotational basis for each of the 5 key areas, for example, in the first two weeks of August, Magic Bus will focus to instill ‘Right to Education’ objective among the children and community members. After two weeks, ‘Promoting better health and hygiene’ objective among the children and community members will be instilled and so forth. Thus, the aim towards each quarter will be to ensure that all the 5 objectives are instilled/taught to the children and community members.

The event kick-started by Smt. Vandana Dadel and Mr. Avinav Chaubey (AGM-Marketing, The Muthoot Group), witnessed a football match between the Magic Bus children. The launch also witnessed a cultural performance by the Magic Bus children.
