The image of a child chasing the butterfly in a lawn is one of our favourite sights to behold. Now it will happen every day at De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DIST). On the sidelines of Environment Day, Muthoot Finance, as part of their CSR initiative has constructed a butterfly and herbal garden within the precincts of the college. The week-long celebrations on behalf of Environment Day was inaugurated by Shri. George M George – Deputy Managing Director of Muthoot Finance and Rev. Father John Mangalath – Principal DIST in an event organized at the De Paul college campus. On the occasion, Muthoot Finance joined hands with the college students and NCC cadets of Kalady Grama Panchayat to clean the premises of the college. The company has distributed branded T-Shirts for 130 students to participate in the green campaign. In a reflection of our commitment to sustainability, we have kickstarted a unique program that repurposes plastic bottles to create eco bricks sitting areas within the college campus.
