Restoring Dignity Through Permanent Housing

The Muthoot Aashiyana Project is a flagship CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance Ltd., conceived as a structured rehabilitation programme to restore dignity, stability, and security to families affected by natural calamities.

Launched in 2018 in the aftermath of the devastating Kerala floods, the project was envisioned not merely as a relief measure but as a long-term rehabilitation commitment focused on permanent housing solutions.

Impact So Far

  • 270 homes delivered across India
  • Over 200 homes in Kerala
  • 20 homes in Rewari, Haryana
  • 10 homes in Haridwar, Uttarakhand
  • 11 homes in Tamil Nadu (for families affected by the December 2023 floods in Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli districts)

Each home is thoughtfully designed to ensure safety, durability, and essential amenities, enabling beneficiary families to rebuild their lives with confidence and security.

By addressing one of the most critical post-disaster challenges, permanent shelter – the Aashiyana Project transforms adversity into opportunity, reinforcing Muthoot Finance’s commitment to community resilience and inclusive growth.
