On the occasion of the 156th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, the Father of the Nation, the Regional Office, Surat team came together to participate in the “SWACHHATA HI SEVA – Mega Cleanliness Drive 2025”, under the national theme of Swachhotsav.

The cleanliness drive was carried out on October 2, 2025, at K.N. Park Society, located near the Regional Office in Surat. The initiative was led by Mr. Benny Poulose, Officiating Regional Manager, Surat, and witnessed enthusiastic participation of Mr. Mahesh Pillai – Assistant Regional Manager, Mr. Sajay Kumar – Chief Manager Admin, Mr. Phines Varghese – Assistant Manager IT, Ms. Ravindra Kaur – Customer Relationship Officer, Ms. Shweta Asthana – Insurance Executive, Mr. Dhaval Tailor – Admin Executive, Mr. Rakesh Panda – Money Transfer Executive, Mr. Lalit Wagh – Sub Staff, Regional Office And other dedicated volunteers.

As part of the initiative, the volunteers actively cleaned the park by removing garbage, debris, and pollutants. The collected waste was responsibly handed over to the Surat Municipal Corporation for proper disposal.

This noble effort served as a humble tribute to the values and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, while promoting a strong message of cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. It aligns with Muthoot Finance’s commitment to Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) and supports the national mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
