As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Muthoot Finance inaugurated a “Muthoot Smart Classroom” on May 19, 2026, at Government Primary School Khasarwara, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, aiming to create a healthier and more conducive learning environment.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Mr. Anil Kumar, Chief Regional Manager RO Lucknow, and Mr. Dilip Kumar, Sr. Manager – CSR CO(N), along with distinguished guests including Mrs. Pratima Tiwari, Academic Resource Person Sarojini Nagar Block; Mrs. Indu Yadav, School Principal; Mr. Gaurav Upadhyay, RMH Lucknow; teachers; and parents of students.

Under this initiative, the classroom has been upgraded with student desks, whiteboard, ceiling fans, teacher’s table, revolving chair, whitewash and BALA painting, wooden doors and windows, and other infrastructure improvements.

The initiative is expected to benefit around 80 underprivileged children by improving seating comfort, classroom infrastructure, and overall learning conditions, thereby strengthening government school facilities.

The School Principal expressed gratitude to Muthoot Finance for supporting the development of the smart classroom and enhancing educational infrastructure in the school.
