As an extension of The Muthoot Group’s endeavours in reaching out to the economically disadvantaged sections of the nation, the Group joined hands with Magic Bus Foundation to implement a child-centric project titled “Muthoot Haathi Mera Saathi” in Ranchi (Jharkhand) and in Chennai (Tamil Nadu). Under the project, efforts have been made to address those areas that are closely associated with and directly or indirectly impact child development like education, health & hygiene, food & nutrition and gender. The project was conceived in light of the growing concern for holistic development of children, especially the girl child. Till date, lives of 1000 children belonging to the marginalised sections of society in each city have been positively impacted.
