Under the CSR Initiative of Muthoot Finance, we supported the Harmony Foundation for promoting the prestigious Mother Teresa Memorial Awards for Social Justice 2023 on the theme of “Humanity in Action” at Hotel Taj Santacruz, Mumbai, Maharashtra on 26 November 2023.

The event honored exemplary individuals and organizations worldwide who embody the spirit of humanity.

The chief guests of the event were Shri Ramesh Bais, Hon. Governor of Maharashtra; Chairperson Justice K.K.Tated, Maharashtra State Human Right Commission; Mr. Mahesh Bhatt- Director Producer & Film Maker; Ms. Pooja Bhatt, Actress and other dignitaries.

In acknowledgment of the tragic events of 26/11, when Mumbai faced devastating terrorist attacks in 2008, the Harmony Foundation paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the Mumbai Police, NSG commandos, and others who sacrificed their lives.

The ceremony started with a heartfelt homage to these courageous individuals, symbolizing the essence of humanity.

Staff from Muthoot Finance- Mr. Mohan K. Warrier, Regional Manager Mumbai Main Region and Mr. Akash Chaubey, Senior Executive- Marketing, Mumbai RO were also present in the event.
