As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Muthoot Finance distributed play equipment (educational toys) to 24 Anganwadi centers across Rajkot district, Gujarat, aiming to empower young children through improved learning resources.

The formal handover ceremony was held at the Regional Office in Rajkot on May 2, 2026, in the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Pradip Bhai Dav, Former Mayor of Rajkot Municipal Corporation; Mrs. Pooja Ben, NGO Representative; Mr. Amit Desai, Regional Manager – Rajkot, MFL; Mr. Sandip Jani, Regional Manager – Rajkot, MML; along with regional office staff members and Anganwadi teachers.

This initiative promotes activity-based learning by integrating educational toys into daily teaching practices. It aims to enhance children’s cognitive, creative, motor, and social skills while supporting teachers in delivering more engaging and interactive sessions.

The initiative is expected to benefit around 1,280 children across the 24 centers by creating a stimulating learning environment, increasing participation, and improving early learning outcomes.

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation Urban ICDS Department, along with Anganwadi teachers, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Muthoot Finance for its support toward the development and well-being of children.
