Honouring Tradition. Supporting Legends.

Launched in 2014–15, Muthoot Snehasammanam is a dedicated initiative by Muthoot Finance to recognize and support senior artists who have devoted their lives to preserving India’s rich cultural heritage. Rooted in the belief that art and tradition form the core of community identity, the programme extends financial and healthcare assistance to distinguished artists, particularly those associated with Kerala’s temple art forms.

Under this initiative, selected beneficiaries receive sustained monthly financial grants, ensuring stability, security, and dignity in their later years.

The programme supports practitioners of classical and traditional art forms such as Kathakali, Chenda, Mridangam, Veena, Nagaswaram, Mizhavu, Timila, Panchavadhyam, and other temple-based performance traditions unique to Kerala.

Beyond financial aid, Muthoot Snehasammanam also facilitates access to free or subsidized medical check-ups and treatment, reflecting a holistic approach to artist welfare.

So far, 76 senior artists have benefited from this meaningful initiative.

Each year, recipients are formally honored at a dedicated ceremony celebrating their lifelong contributions to the cultural fabric of the region.

Through Muthoot Snehasammanam, Muthoot Finance reaffirms its enduring commitment to social responsibility and cultural preservation; ensuring that the custodians of tradition are
