“Empowering Education through Sanitation”

Under its continued commitment to community welfare and development, Muthoot Finance proudly inaugurated a newly constructed toilet block on 20th April 2026 at Alipur Satish Chandra Pal High School, located in Jagatballavpur, Chanditalla-I, Hooghly, West Bengal. This initiative has been undertaken as part of the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and aligns with the vision of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Mr. Chitresh Bhattacharya, CSR Manager – East Zone, and Mr. Ayan Das, JRE – Dankuni Branch, in the presence of the school principal, Mr. Asif Ali, along with teaching staff and students.

This initiative reflects Muthoot Finance’s strong commitment to enhancing health, hygiene, and access to essential sanitation facilities in educational institutions, particularly benefiting young girls. Access to clean and safe toilets is a critical factor in improving school attendance, promoting student well-being, and ensuring greater educational equity.

The newly constructed facility is expected to benefit over 600 students. The school principal and students expressed their sincere gratitude to Muthoot Finance for this impactful contribution, which not only strengthens school infrastructure but also fosters dignity, confidence, and a healthier learning environment for every child.
