Muthoot Finance Empowers Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Through Distribution of 680 Umbrellas in North West Delhi

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Muthoot Finance distributed 680 umbrellas to Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) serving 339 Anganwadi Centres across three locations in North West Delhi—Mangolpuri Khurd, Sultanpuri, and Pratap Vihar on June 25, 2026 at Anganwadi Worker Training Center, Prem Nagar 3, North West Delhi.

The umbrellas were formally handed over by Ms. Rashmi Singh, IAS, Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Government of NCT of Delhi, in the esteemed presence of Mr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Sultanpuri; Mr. Dilip Kumar, Senior Manager – CSR, Corporate Office (North), Mr. Lokesh Sharma, Senior Business Development Manager, Regional Office Delhi North; along with members of the Delhi North sales team, WCD officials, CDPOs, Supervisors, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers, and other dignitaries.

The initiative aims to support frontline Anganwadi personnel by providing protection from rain and extreme heat during their field visits, enabling them to continue delivering essential health, nutrition and early childhood services more effectively.

Expressing their appreciation, Ms. Rashmi Singh, Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, CDPO, Sultanpuri, and several Anganwadi Workers conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Muthoot Finance for its meaningful contribution toward improving the working conditions of these dedicated community workers.
