Muthoot Finance CSR, in collaboration with Sports for Unique Athletes (S4U), inaugurated a Sensory Integration Room at Gurukul Centre for Special Children, Ghatkopar, Mumbai on 26 June 2026.

This dedicated therapy room is designed to support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their sensory processing, motor skills, balance, concentration, communication, emotional regulation, and overall independence through specialized sensory integration equipment.

The initiative will directly benefit 100+ students at the Gurukul Centre, while also serving children from the surrounding community through the school’s OPD services. A dedicated therapist has been appointed to ensure regular and effective therapy sessions.

The inauguration was graced by Ms. Nandini Sawant (Regional Manager, Mumbai Main – Gold Loan), Ms. Puja Mehra (Founder, S4U), Ms. Ujjwala Surange (Principal, Gurukul Centre), Mr. Akshay Salvi (Sales Assistant, Regional Office, Mumbai), and Mr. Tushar Deshmukh (CSR Manager, Mumbai).

Through this initiative, Muthoot CSR reaffirms its commitment to creating inclusive opportunities and empowering children with special needs to learn, grow, and thrive with dignity.
