As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Muthoot Finance inaugurated a “Muthoot Smart Classroom” on May 18, 2026 at Government Primary School, Adarsh Nagar, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, aiming to create a healthier and more conducive learning environment.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Mrs. Nahid Iqbal Ferukhi, Block Education Officer, and Mr. Dilip Kumar, Sr. Manager – CSR CO(N), along with distinguished guests including Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Ward Councilor; Mr. Atendra, Academic Resource Person; Mrs. Seema Verma, School Principal; Mr. Nitin Pratap Singh, JRE Unnao Branch; teachers; and parents of students.

Under this initiative, the classroom has been upgraded with student desks, whiteboard, ceiling fans, teacher’s table, revolving chair, whitewash and BALA painting, wooden doors and windows, tile work, and other infrastructure improvements.

The initiative is expected to benefit around 100 underprivileged children by improving seating comfort, classroom infrastructure, and overall learning conditions, thereby strengthening government school facilities.

The Block Education Officer and School Principal expressed gratitude to Muthoot Finance for supporting the development of the smart classroom and enhancing educational infrastructure in the school.
