Muthoot Finance has been honoured with the Best Social Welfare Initiative of the Year award at the prestigious Global CSR, ESG & Sustainability Awards 2026, in recognition of its impactful CSR initiative focused on prison rehabilitation and the holistic development of children of incarcerated individuals.

The award was presented on May 08, 2026, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, during a ceremony organised by Brand Honchos. Representing Muthoot Finance, Mr. Rakesh Mehra, General Manager – CSR & Corporate Affairs, and Mr. Dilip Kumar, Senior Manager – CSR, CO North, received the award from Mr. Ved Bhushan, Former ACP, Delhi Police, and Ms. Palak Agrawal, Director, Narayan Seva Sansthan.

The event celebrated organisations and individuals making meaningful contributions towards nation-building and social transformation through Corporate Social Responsibility. More than 150 organisations participated in the event, including leading corporates such as Reliance Foundation, Jindal Steel Ltd., Aditya Birla Group, Colgate-Palmolive India, PwC, Narayan Seva Sansthan, Spark Minda Industries, HPCL, Titli Foundation, and Sampark Foundation, among others.

Implemented in partnership with India Vision Foundation, founded by Dr. Kiran Bedi, the initiative reflects Muthoot Finance’s unwavering commitment to inclusive and sustainable social change. Through Radio Parvaaz—an innovative in-prison audio broadcasting platform—the company has transformed correctional spaces into centres for learning, emotional healing, and behavioural transformation.

The initiative currently impacts more than 3,300 inmates through structured educational and motivational programming designed to support rehabilitation and encourage positive reintegration into society.

This recognition further reinforces Muthoot Finance’s commitment to creating meaningful, long-term social impact through innovative and human-centric CSR initiatives.
