As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Muthoot Finance extended its support towards inclusive healthcare by donating essential physiotherapy equipment to Deepkalyan Rehabilitation Society in Amta, Howrah, on March 26, 2026.

The initiative involved the provision of key physiotherapy aids, including a motorized walker, body massager, specialized therapy bed, therapeutic chair, and finger ladder. These resources are aimed at enhancing rehabilitation services and improving mobility for children with mental and physical challenges.

This contribution is expected to benefit approximately 250 children associated with the organization, most of whom come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Due to financial constraints, many families are unable to access regular physiotherapy treatment. With the availability of this equipment, the organization will now be able to provide these essential therapies free of cost, significantly improving the children’s quality of life.

The equipment was formally handed over by Mr. Chitresh Bhattacharya, CSR Manager – East, to Mr. Atanu Hazra, Secretary of the institution, in the presence of faculty members, students, and parents.

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Atanu Hazra acknowledged Muthoot Finance’s generous support and emphasized that the equipment will play a vital role in enhancing the health, mobility, and overall well-being of the children.
